The Long Long War by Richard L. Clutterbuck recounting the Malay insurgency from 1948-1960.
I first stumbled upon a copy in Fallujah, then found another one in the Library at Camp Lejeune. Now I finally have my own.
My reading list for the past few months--Gibbon, Sykes, Al Tabari, Qutb, etc.--is best summed up with a line Jerry Agar used a few times--"Another thing I read so you don't have to."
