In late May I lived with Able Company 3-509.
They had 6 months in the Kharmah area and were being re-assigned to Iskandariyah as the Brigade's Strike Force.
After 5 months in Kharmah, strike force operations sounded like a good for the paratroopers.
And it was.
I got to spend a lot of time with Captain Matthew Gregory and I am not surprised at all that his crew rolled up some ranking bad guys.
Captain Gregory and Able will be prominently featured my next documentary.
