Thank you Hugh Hewitt!

I know and correspond with many Muslims.

I have broken the flat bread with many Muslims, drank tea, smoked cigarettes, shot the breeze and swapped jokes.

The vast majority of Muslims are as hospitable as Mormons.

Growing up in Southern California--where being a Mormon is no big deal--the running joke was that you always wanted a time-share with them or have them as neighbors.  They are great people.

Same with Arab Muslims, who even Gibbon commended in 'Decline and Fall' as famous for thier hospitality.

But as we all know to well, the violent strain of Islam--the Religion of Intimidation and what Michelle Malkin has dubbed the Religion of Perpetual Outrage--silences people like Larry O'Donnell.

We owe a debt to Mr. Hewitt for bringing this out and to Mr. O'Donnell for a moment of honesty.

The soft peddaling that we need to be sensitive and not offend the Muslims only empowers those whose first and only resort is violence and threats thereof.

The strain of Islam that seeks to restore the unique Quranic generation and models itself after General Khalid bin al Waheed, who decapitated so many the Euphrates flowed red with blood, must be stopped.

And they cannot be stopped if people like Mr. O'Donnell are frightened of them.

In the upcoming documentary, there is a very, very telling statement by the leader of a group of tribal fighters about Al Qaida:

"They offer only violence and death."

That is the legacy of the unique Quranic generation as the empire expanded in the 7th century under the mantle of the Islamic bargain of the time--The Quran, The Tribute or the Sword.

All through the middle east the Muslims made the offer to the peoples they encountered:

"Choose one of three things.  You may enter our religion, in which case you will enjoy what we enjoy, and you will bear the obligations we bear, whether you arise and migrate [with us] or stay in your dwellings.  Otherwise, there is payment of jizyah, or else resistance and fighting.  By God, I have brought you a people who are more covetous of death than you are of life." (The History of al-Tabari, Volume XI)

That comes from a the Histories of the Muslim people written in the 10th century, but it sounds so familiar today.

For the unique Quranic Generation and the modern Jihadist the world is made up of only three peoples--Muslims, Dhimmies and those at war with Islam.

As the intellectual architect of modern jihadism, Seyyid Qutb, wrote in the 1960's:

"Now the people of the whole world were of three kinds:  One, the Muslims who believed in him; two, those with whom he had peace [dhimmies]; and three, the opponents who kept fighting him."  (Seyyid Qutb, Milestones)

Mr. O'Donnell is not a Muslim.  And he has backed away from the threat of violence.  All that is left to complete his dhimmitude is to send a check to the nearest Mosque to cover the Jizyah tax.

But I will not submit.

We all know that freedom is not free--and neither is reporting from Iraq.

Each digital tape capturing the heroic efforts of Soldiers and Marines costs $7.  JD uses almost 100 tapes on each trip.  One DVD buys one tape that will permanently capture what the media refuses to cover.

As you know JD spends his time in Iraq with the Soldiers and Marines doing the work Outside The Wire. That means hundreds and thousands of dollars of equipment and gear gets damaged.  Three dollars buys a new protective lens cover.  Fifty dollars buys a pair of ballistic glasses.  Just to get there, the airfare costs $1,500.

It all helps and it is all needed to tell the story that is not being told.

If you have the desire and means and would like to make a tax deductible contribution, or contribute at the Producer level, please contact JD via email.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and any support you can give.
