Allah at Hotair blogged about this suicide bombing at Baghdad's Mansour hotel.

This was not a random suicide bombing this was a hit to take out a few common enemies.

There were three checkpoints the bomber had to pass through.  They are not not U.S. Military they are Iraqi Army, Iraqi Police or a private contractor of some type probably not American or British.

CBS references an IP officer.

My bet is the IP who were "guarding" this hotel  cooperated with Al Qaida elements who provided the bomber to take out common enemies.

The Maliki regime is so corrupted and influenced by Jaish al Mahdi that they are very happy to keep him power.

Al Qaida has a pattern of assassinating Anbar Sheiks who oppose Al Qaida.

So, when a group of Anbar Sheiks meet with a politician looking to force a vote of no confidence on Maliki are blown up in a hotel lobby it is not a coincidence.  It is a hit.

A couple hundred bucks to grease the IP by Jaish al Mahdi.  Al Qaida provides the bomber.  The Maliki regime is allowed to continue for another day and two tribes opposed to Al Qaida are disrupted.
