This weekend, the anti-war movie 'Stop Loss' bombed at the box office.
'Outside the Wire' my pro-victory documentaries shot in Iraq and featuring real soldiers and Marines had a great weekend .
When I realized that it would only take the sale of 2,900 DVDs to beat the anti-war movie 'Redacted' in gross sales, we were about 9% of the way.
If you look to the right....
You will see significant progress has been made--but there is still a way to go.
If you want to show Hollywood that you are tired of anti-war movies and documentaries here is what you can do:
Hollywood and the entertainment industry are indeed liberal. But it is also cognizant of the bottom line.
To demonstrate that there is indeed a market for a pro-victory, pro-troop movie, I need your help.
Over the weekend, I saw these two blogs complaining about Hollywood's take on the war in Iraq .
It is safe to say these writers had no idea my movies exist. They want my movies to exist, they just don't know about them.
'Stop Loss' may have spent in the neighborhood of $10,000,000 in advertising, marketing, promotions.
My advertising, marketing, promotions budget is $0.
If the bloggers linked above want my movies to exist, but don't know about them, how many more people who want a pro-troop movie are unaware of my documentaries' existence?
I need your help to spread the word. If you are tired of the endless line of anti-war movies--help spread the word and prove that a pro-victory, pro-troop movie is economically viable.
The Outside the Wire Project would not exist without the support of our generous patrons. Freedom isn't free, and neither is traveling to Iraq to show a different side of the War on Terror.
Please help support Outside the Wire by purchasing a DVD !
